The Old Farmhouse
The Old Farmhouse is a characterful rural retreat, furnished in a comfortable modern cottage style that reflects its traditional Cornish roots.
Set on a peaceful working farm, the property enjoys far-reaching sea views and almost 360-degree views across the surrounding farmland. From the gardens, there are beautiful views towards Godrevy Lighthouse, making it a wonderful place to sit and watch the sunsets over the coast.
It’s an ideal setting for a relaxed family holiday, or for guests looking to unwind close to the beach and South West Coast Path.
Life here moves at a gentler pace. Many guests enjoy spending time outdoors, watching the sky change colour at sunset or listening to skylarks overhead, and simply taking in the tranquillity of this special place.
Sleeping arrangements and comfort
The Old Farmhouse sleeps up to six guests, with space for a cot if required.
All bedrooms are provided with quality bed linen and towels, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay.
A working farm setting
The Old Farmhouse is located on a working farm, so you may occasionally see the tractor going about its daily tasks — always at sociable times.
We also have a small number of Jersey cows, who are friendly and naturally curious, and often keen to say hello, adding to the charm of a stay on the farm.

Living areas
Entering through a spacious sun-trap conservatory, furnished with comfortable chairs and dining table, you arrive at the large living room. This is a warm and welcoming space, with comfy sofas, an open log fire, and an ornamental range cooker that adds to the cottage’s character.
Kitchen and dining
The light and bright kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering stays, with an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave, along with plenty of storage space.
The separate dining room features another ornamental range heater and a beautiful Welsh dresser, with a dining table seating six guests.
There is also an additional downstairs WC and utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outdoor space and practical details
Outside, there is parking for two cars and a private garden with a picnic bench, providing a lovely place to enjoy the fresh Cornish air.
The garden offers sea views that change with the seasons and the weather, adding to the sense of space and connection to the coast.
Entry to the property is via a key safe, allowing for flexible arrival times.
Please note that electric vehicle charging is not available at the property.

Upstairs bedrooms and bathroom
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, all enjoying sweeping rural views that create a peaceful and restful setting for your stay.
The first bedroom features a super king-size bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe, with lovely countryside views.
The second bedroom has a king-size bed, bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe, also with lovely countryside views.
The third bedroom enjoys views towards the sea and is furnished with two single beds, making it ideal for children. The room also includes a bedside table, built-in shelving and a hanging rail.
We’re sorry that we’re unable to accommodate personal preferences for bedding. If you’d like to know the duvet tog provided, please feel free to contact us before your stay.
Adjacent to the bedrooms is a family bathroom, which includes a lavatory, hand basin, oversized bath, and a separate shower.
